Fund Sponsors

The current Members/Sponsors of the RCIF are Catholic Religious women’s Congregations.  They have worked together in JOLT, which is a coalition of faith-based organizations who promote economic justice through investments, education and action.  Jolt members (1) address issues of corporate social accountability through investment screens, proxy voting and dialogue/shareholder action with portfolio companies and (2) direct capital (at below-market rates of return) to community-based initiatives that benefit underserved persons and communities.

The various Congregations had developed their own community investment programs and through JOLT they also participated in pooled investment vehicles.  With the development of the RCIF, Congregations may either transfer their current investments or invest cash directly into the Fund.

To be eligible to become a Sponsor or Member the organization must be a Catholic nonprofit listed in the Official Catholic Directory. Minimum investment is $25,000 for a Sponsor and $300,000 for Members.
